This was SUPPOSED to just be a quick description of my headcanon for Phoenix's family / living conditions, 'cause it's sort of been coming up in his conversations lately, and I wanted to have something consistent to refer back to. ... and then I decided to do it for my other characters. And THEN I started thinking about how their family life would affect their financial situations, and how their financial situations would affect their adult life, and once I got there, all I wanted to do was think about what their picket fence future would be like. s-sob.

SO. Have headcanon bits for family background/financial situation/happy endings/whatever the hell else they do when they're not being an active character in their stories. Spots where they interact with other characters is subject to change, of course. Since they involve other characters and all.

OKAY. As some of you already know, this is ... kind of the first psychopath I've ever played at CFUD! After almost three years of a straight hero / anti-hero lineup. orz. I am extremely nervous about this. And I really, really, really don't want to step on anyone's toes. At all. ... but I also want to be able to play my character! And my character kind of likes doing nasty things. So.

IF ANY OF MY THREADS WITH YOU MAKE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, THEN PLEASE TELL ME AND WE'LL STOP. IMMEDIATELY. Seriously. I'll make camp intervene, make Vincent pull back, stage an intervention, whatever it takes! I am here to traumatize your characters. I am not here to traumatize you. >: >:

... that said! Vincent is a very touchy person. He -- okay, he does use his touching to make people ~uncomfortable~, and he can use it in conjunction with trauma, but mostly he just likes touching your hair. And shoulders. And neck. And face. Not in a sexual way! Just a "oh you are such a pretty dolly :)" way. I'd like to be able to have him just LEAN on people and maaaybe be a little too close for comfort without asking permission every single time.

So here's my next order of business: Can Vincent touch your character? Even if you give me a blanket YES YES PLZ TOUCH ME WHENEVER YOU LIKE to this, I will absolutely and definitely ask permission first if a situation comes up where Vincent wants to do anything past hair/face/shoulder touching.

ETA: BLANKET PERMISSION GRANTED to touch/punch/molest/whatever Vincent right back. Especially if he starts it. :)

ESSAYS WILL GO HERE. Soon...ish. For now, here's a list of things I want to touch on eventually:

* Vincent and Sexuality (or rather, lack thereof; even his lolitouching habits read more like "I can has pretty dolly :)" more than "hur hur let me sex you up" ETA: Apparently he has no problems with kissing his loli too, which is ... more than I'd expected! But the circumstances were still -- interesting, so. I'LL TALK MORE ABOUT THAT when I get full scans of the new chapter.)

* Dormouse Stuff (what have I seen it do in canon, specifically? what can I assume it does in canon, based on close extrapolation? what am I assuming it can do, at least until canon says otherwise? plus my crack theory about Echo.)

* Vincent's Memories (how much does he definitely remember? how much does he possibly remember? how much am I assuming he remembers, at least until canon says otherwise?)

* Vincent's EVIL PLANS (Vince's thoughts on the Baskervilles, wtf is he doing in Pandora, analysis of his conversation with Oscar, etc. also, what I intend to do with all that in camp. (hint: not much. because Vincent sees no reason to do anything but play while he's stuck in here. ... for now.))

* Vincent's Evil-O-Meter (on the one hand, no Pandora to suck up to! and if he does anything awful in camp, nobody's going to believe them when they go back home. :) On the other hand ... enclosed space. constant in-fighting would get so tiring after a while. :( ETA: New canon sez he's willing to use poison, and that he's NOT TO BE TRUSTED esp. re: keeping up his end of the deal. Not sure how that will affect things, but. Any doubts I had about being REALLY TRULY EVIL are gone.)

* Vincent's Canon (Vince really doesn't have many scenes, so I think I'll list them out one by one and go through my interpretation for each of them.)

Okay, so. Vincent doesn't have a whole lot of canon! Vincent especially doesn't have much canon re: his brother and his other relationships, which is ... um, kind of a pain! So. Here is a post for hashing out shared head-canon so that I can have functional relationships with my canonmates.
